ImageSplitterTool processes the images you select in your browser. This page describes the current MVP implementation.

Image files

When you choose an image, your browser reads it locally to create the preview and split tiles. The original image, its filename, file path, image contents, and EXIF metadata are not uploaded or stored by ImageSplitterTool.

Optional analytics

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 receives basic product events such as image loaded, split completed, and tile or ZIP downloaded. Events may include image format, pixel dimensions, output format, tile count, and processing time. They never include the image, filename, or file path. Google may use cookies or similar browser storage to measure visits. Analytics does not load unless you select “Allow analytics.”

You can change your choice at any time using “Privacy settings” in the site footer. Declining or withdrawing consent stops analytics from loading or sending new events.

Temporary browser resources

Image previews and downloadable tiles use temporary browser memory and object URLs. Replacing or resetting the image clears these references. Closing the page releases the page resources.

Hosting and network requests

The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Your browser requests the page files from Cloudflare. If you allow analytics, the browser also sends analytics requests to Google. No image processing request is sent to Cloudflare or Google.
